Cathy Cox, the owner of Cox Family Farm, is a talented quilter who loves sharing her skills with others. In 2025, she received a blue ribbon at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Quilt Contest for her piece "Star of Reflection" in the Machine Quilting category.

Along with her passion for quilting, Cathy enjoys teaching others the craft. She offers quilting lessons where she guides students through each step, from choosing fabrics to finishing their projects. Stitching Success: Learn Quilting with Award-Winning Cathy Cox

This stunning quilt, created by Sherry Melton in collaboration with Cathy Cox, began its journey in the paper piecing classes at Sew Vac City, where I serve as the Lead Educator. I had the honor of custom quilting it for Sherry. The quilt first won at a local show, then received a prestigious Blue Ribbon at the Rodeo & Livestock Show. It went on tour and will be featured at the 2025 International Quilt Festival in Houston, Texas.
